Tackle the housing crisis

STIP believes that living in Delft must be possible for everyone, but unfortunately the housing market is completely locked. We break the housing shortage with movement in the market, building more, and using the existing stock better. Shared living is the solution to the housing shortage and prevents loneliness

A city that comes alive

Delft buzzes with energy and creativity. STIP makes space for atmospheric bars and restaurants, a busy music venue, and inspiring art. Furthermore, Delft must invite you to move, whether you run through green spaces, skate through the city, or dance until the early hours.

Prepare Delft for a sustainable future

STIP works for a city that is ready for a sustainable future, by making our streets greener, healthier, and more social. We ensure that we repair, reuse, and upcycle more. With wellinsulated houses, sustainable transport, and a heating network that uses Delft heat, we make the transitions a success!

Put Delft’s knowledge to work

In Delft, we work in a historic city on the world of tomorrow. Here we think up, make, and apply ideas. Everyone deserves an equal chance. STIP believes in an inclusive economy that works as a springboard for talent, with jobs for everyone. We value our local makers and invite visitors to discover the versatility of welcoming Delft.

Delft takes care of each other

In Delft, we look out for each other, everyone belongs, and everyone can participate. With focused attention on mental health and social connection, STIP tackles problems early. This way we prevent these problems from becoming bigger. Every child deserves the space to develop talents, and young people are involved in decision-making for Delft.

A look ahead from lead candidate Jelle Stap

This is the moment to get Delft ready for the future. Delft must remain a city where you can live, build a life, and take part. For too many people, finding a home has become an endless search—and that calls for courage: pushing through on housing mobility, making it easier to share a home, and building faster where possible. Where others hesitate, STIP chooses to act.

We will use scarce space more intelligently, so that starters, students, young families, and older residents can see a future here again. And because housing is more than just a roof we will also make room for a city that truly comes alive: culture, creativity, sport, and places to meet one another. We will tackle sustainability challenges with measures you can feel in your neighbourhood: more green space, healthier streets, and a transition that remains affordable. As a knowledge city, Delft has everything it takes to strengthen equal opportunities; STIP wants to use that strength so that everyone can keep up.

With pride, I present STIP’s plans for the coming term. As a local party, we know Delft inside out. We bring young, creative, and innovative ideas—and turn them into concrete results. Delft needs action now. STIP is getting Delft ready for the future. Vote on 18 March: STIP—On Point!
